Custom Development Questions |
Q: What is your development service hourly rate?
We provide fixed quotes for all development and customization work required based on the project
requrements provided. We think that providing fixed project rate has more value to our clients than
fictitious hourly rates. We provide full copy of all project related code and database changes upon project
delivery and any additional fixes related to our code will be fixed free fo charge.

Q: What are some of your custom development practices?
- We will set up a development site separate from your current production site on your own dedicated server.
The site will be available under a separate subdomain and you will be able to monitor the development progress on your end.
- All site folders and site content will be setup under our version control system (we use Subversion for version control). Thus
we will be able to track and manage any changes made to the original AbleCommerce install during the development process.
- Your current production site will not be affected during the development process. All existing customers and orders will be migrated over before the new site goes live.

Q: Do you offer assistance for transferring our existing site. To what extent is assistance provided?
We provide full site migration and site configuration assistance with no site downtime. On your end you just
have to upload backup copies of your site and database via FTP, provide a copy of your site license string and
update site DNS servers. Our admin team will setup your site and install ssl certificate for your site.

Q: I am really daunted by the prospect of upgrading our storefront software version. Is this something you could assist with?
Yes, we do shopping cart upgrades and we provide SVN Server space on our SVN servers. All development and site upgrade work we do
under SVN version management, the upgrade service fee depends on the custom code changes made to the original shopping cart install.

Q: How long have you been in business?

Q: Does your service require annual contracts or prepayments?
All services we provide are available for a month-to-month commitment. We do not require prepayments and do not charge
cancelation or termination fees.

Q: What payment methods do you offer?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, PayPal, Bank ACH Transfers and Bank Checks.

Q: Do you have multiple data centers/locations? If so, where are their locations?
We use SoftLayer's data centers to house our servers. All data centers are built on a unique pod design concept that makes them
functionally independent with distinct and redundant resources. The SoftLayer network provides all customers with over 2,000 Gbps
of connectivity between 4 data centers and 7 points of presence (PoPs) across the United States. Softlayer have enabled dozens of
10Gbps network connections across all locations that are provided by 10 leading US network providers, and include multiple public
peering links to dozens of additional Internet access networks.
All sites managed and hosted by Drundo are running at Softlayer's Datacenter in Dallas, Texas. Trough our partnership with SoftLayer
we are able to provide robust, secure, high-performance ecommerce hosting platform built on high-quality hardware.

Technical Questions |
Q: Is the MS SQL instance running on a shared server? How many other databases share the server?
In order to provide secure PCI Ecommerce environment we have no shared resources policy. Each account is running on its own
server with own MSSQL server instance and own VLAN IP block. Each IP block range is unique and does not allow hackers to discover
your site by scanning other sites IP ranges.

Q: How many domains can you have on the server?
There are no restrictions on the number of domains you can have on the same server. You will have full remote desktop Admin access and
direct IIS and MSSQL management access.

Q: Is there a virus scan/firewall solution or do we need to install our own software for this?
We cover all the bases with industrial-strength threat protection for your servers. On-access scanning blocks spyware and other malware
from propagating on your systems. There is no need for additional software on your server.

Q: If we upgrade to a distributed setup, how is the communication between the web and db server secured?
With separate web server and mssql server configurations the mssql server will be running on a separate dedicated server dedicated to
SQL Server 2008 R2 only. The connection between web and database server is trough 10Gbit internal private network connection. The MSSQL
server will have only private network access and will not be available from Internet. Our High Traffic Service plans "Ecommerce Extreme"
and "Ecommerce Elite" are based on distributed setup.
